Mining Forum Americas: Sunday Recap
Sunday brought together attendees for learning, networking, and connecting against a beautiful backdrop at The Broadmoor.
The first day of Mining Forum Americas 2025 welcomed attendees to Colorado Springs with a mix of education, networking, and community. Against the stunning backdrop of the Broadmoor Resort, participants gathered to set the tone for a week dedicated to mining and investment dialogue.
Learning to Start the Day
The day began with a focused short course, Basic Principles of Mining Investment, led by Neil Adshead and Nikki Adshead-Bell of Cupel Advisory Corp. Their session gave participants a practical foundation, blending technical and market insights to prepare investors and professionals for the discussions ahead.
Sunshine, Golf, and Connections

The Franco-Nevada & DGG Golf Tournament brought together attendees at the Broadmoor Golf Club. With perfect late-summer weather, the course became a setting for casual connections, camaraderie, and a little competitive spirit. From boxed lunches to putts sunk against a backdrop of mountain views, the tournament delivered memorable moments that balanced business with fun.

Exploring the Front Range
For those looking to experience the landscape, the Garden of the Gods hike offered breathtaking views and a chance to reflect on the natural forces shaping the region. Participants stepped away from boardrooms and ballrooms to connect with Colorado’s unique geology and each other in a relaxed setting.
A Warm Welcome to the Forum
The evening concluded with the Argonaut Securities Welcome Reception and Franco-Nevada Prize Giving. Held for the first time at the Broadmoor’s Outdoor Infinity Pool, the reception combined elegance and energy. Attendees toasted the start of Mining Forum Americas while celebrating golf tournament winners and enjoying the spectacular mountain sunset.

Looking Ahead
Sunday’s events set the stage for an impactful week. From technical insights to shared experiences on the course and trail, the community is now fully gathered — ready for the conversations, keynotes, and deal-making that define Mining Forum Americas.
